The Family Support Specialists provide parent-to-parent support to families who have a child under age three.

You could talk to a Family Support Specialist about: • Your feelings about having a child with a developmental delay or disability • Your questions about choices and therapies • How providers handled certain circumstances • What support groups there are in the community •How to find helpful information • Caring for your premature baby "I appreciate talking to another parent - someone who is sensitive to my needs" Family Support Specialists are there for you!

A family support specialist can provide you with support through phone calls, home visits, community outreach, parent support groups and playgroups... whatever is most comfortable for you!
