Children growing...
healthy, happy and safe

A child's development can be followed by how they learn, play, speak and behave.

Young children develop and grow at different rates. A child's development can be followed by how they learn, play, speak, and behave.
Certain milestones during the first three years of life need to be met for optimal growth. Periodic developmental screenings can help make sure a child is "on track." Screenings are offered through home visits, childcare settings, and community organizations. Parents can call Help Me Grow directly if they have a concern about their child's growth.

Help Me Grow also offers developmental evaluations to determine if a child is eligible for ongoing special services because of a developmental delay. This global evaluation can take place in the family's home. With the parents, a team of professionals will assess all the infant's or toddler's developmental areas (cognitive, physical, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive)

Developmental screenings and developmental evaluations are offered to families at no cost.
