Help Me Grow is a system of supports for pregnant women, caregivers with new babies, and families with young children, and for children with developmental delays and disabilities.
- Early Intervention supports families with children birth to age three who have developmental delays or disabilities so that they have the best possible start in life. Early Intervention professionals work with you and your child to identify strengths and needs and address concerns as early as possible with services right where you live, play, and spend your day.
- Home Visiting supports pregnant women and new parents with the tools and information they need to give their children the best start in life. Support from a Home Visitor can improve pregnancy outcomes and help families prepare for a new baby. Even after the baby is born, Home Visiting can help families learn about feeding, sleep, and how to keep their new baby safe and thriving.
- ASQ Online Service is a free developmental screening tool available statewide for families with children birth through age 5. The ASQ tracks a child’s developmental milestones, identifies strengths, and helps parents and caregivers learn whether there are any concerns. Get personalized results and support from a developmental screening specialist.
- Family Connects Ohio is a free, in-home nurse visit provided within the first few weeks of a newborn’s arrival. Visits are offered to all families who reside in a participating area. The nurse checks up on the baby’s and the family’s health, screens for potential postnatal health complications, answers questions about welcoming a newborn, and connects the family to resources within their community.
